Parent headcanons: Alfred, Allen, Matt, & Mathias

When it comes to the trials of adulthood, they have their own ways of getting on top. But parenting is what really puts them to the test. Starting a family and being one of the sole carers for another person will shine a light on the best and worst parts of them.

The big news

Alfred

He has the most normal reaction out of the four. Panic, acceptance, then excitement, he’s finally moving onto the final stages of adulthood and achieving his lifelong dream. Being a suburban dad and getting that white picket fence. It’s not just about liking kids, Alfred is rather traditional when it comes to his values; he has always romanticized the American dream. He already has a good job, all he needs is to make it happen.

“Fuuuuuck,” He whispers, eyes wide as he rakes his hands through his hair. He stands there for a few minutes, staring into space as you watch him tensely for his reaction. “We’re ready to be parents, right?”

Allen

He will freak out. Planned or unplanned, he’s not mentally prepared to be a father. He doesn’t think he’s good enough, but knows deep down he has to be. That’s what really scares him. If he needs to improve himself, it’s now or never. So after a week of panicking and catastrophizing, he’s ready to give himself a second chance — even if it’s for someone else. But his selflessness is key to his perseverance, and eventual success.

“I fucked up,” He squeezes you like a lifeline. It was the only conclusion he could come to after hours of talking about it, the only thing he could ever truly understand. “I fucked up. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.”

Mathias

He’ll be over the moon. He’s gonna be even more excited than you, but that’s kinda given when he doesn’t have to carry the baby and deliver it. Point is, Mathias is very family-oriented, so don’t expect anything less. He’s the most self-affirmed a person can be too, so he’s always ready to move onto the next stage in life. His nurturing character and openness to change will help you immensely in periods of stress and uncertainty.

“I’m so happy that I could cry,” He whispers with his head on your tummy. He’s half-awake after burning out from his own excitement, but his spirit is still in the right place. “We’re finally gonna have a family.”

Matt

Letting you into his life was already a miracle, and now he’s gonna be a dad? This is a human being that he’ll have to be responsible for, not something he can simply tap out of and run away from. Matt is driven by his interests, solitude, and above all else, his freedom. A baby would take away all of those things, and he’s so troubled by it that he disappears for a few weeks. He comes home to a slap, but it’s well-deserved.

“Are you gonna keep hitting me, or are you gonna let me go to my shed?” He sighs, closing his eyes as you keep wailing on him. And he just takes it, absorbing every strike that was your burning love for him.

“Why, so you can keep—” You shove him harshly so that he actually stumbles back. “—hiding from me?”

“No, I’m gonna build a crib and make some toys.”

Parenting style

Alfred

He’s everything you’d expect from a new parent. Freaking out over the little things, screaming when they do something new, burning out after weeks of sleep deprivation, etc. He isn’t perfect, and you’re gonna have to work with him like any other partner, but before you know it, the house is filled with photo frames. He’s your best friend, and sometimes before your partner, so he has a hard time giving and taking. But it’s also why you two will stick together through thick and thin.

Alfred eventually evolves into the archetype of fathers. He takes the backseat and tells his kids, ‘I don’t know, go ask your mother,’ or even gets in trouble for doing stupid things like leaving the toilet seat up. When you just finished yelling at the kids, he comes to them later and goes, ‘someone’s in a bad mood today,’ when he’s just glad it wasn’t him. But when it’s something really serious, he flips like a switch and takes the lead. When that happens, there’s no talking him down.

“Alright gang, ready to get the show on the road?” Alfred rubs his hands together excitedly before he starts the car. “When we get there, I want everyone to be on their best behavior. I’m already on thin ice.”

He has high expectations for his kids. Ever since they popped out, he’s been giving them the best of the best, like nice clothes, family trips, sports leagues, and dance. He also wants them to go to a prestigious university in the future and to do all the things he might have missed out on. Cue the ‘that’s your dream, not mine, dad!’ Alfred can be hard on his children when it comes to success, so you need to remind him they’ve got minds of their own and are not carbon copies of him.

He says he prefers sons until he gets a daughter. Alfred is an absolute sweetheart to his girls, and is way more lenient with them than his boys. He doesn’t mean to play favorites, but it’s just how he’s wired. However, it also means being quite strict and protective when they get to that age. No drinking and no sleepovers with boys present. Men are all animals according to him. But dad, aren’t you a man? Exactly! He’s the pioneer of ‘anything you do to my daughter, I do to you.’

Allen

He tried his absolute best to prepare, but it starts off a disaster. What can go wrong will go wrong. The baby gets sick, you’re away on urgent family business, so he needs to do it all without you. Allen stays in hospital with the baby overnight, and slowly, but surely, they get better. He ends up neglecting himself to put his child’s needs first, and by the time you get back, he’s burning up with a fever. But the baby is perfectly content and sleeping soundly in the crib because of him.

He wants the best for his family, even if it means sacrificing everything he has. He understands his limits, but there’s nothing he won’t do to make sure his kid gets every opportunity he never had. Sports, college, you name it. If everybody in class has branded sneakers, he’ll buy a pair just so they don’t feel left out. He’s always proud of his baby, and if anybody tried to bully them, they’ll have to answer to him. Allen sees the best of him in his child, but usually fails to see it in himself.

“You can have my egg. I’m not hungry, baby.” Allen says, sliding his plate to his little girl. He knows that you won’t be back with the groceries for an hour or so, and no kids are going hungry on his watch.

Allen doesn’t think there’s a particular way of parenting because no one child is the same. So long as they do their homework, get out under the sun, and have a good attitude, the rest is to be decided. If his child needs extra support, he’ll give it to them, and if they need a reality check, he’ll give that to them too. He reminds them how hard life can be without stability, so they should take their future seriously, but at the same time, he’s always gonna be there to give them a home.

Nobody would mess with his kids after one look at him. He’s an ex-marine without the ‘ex.’ His daughter will have trouble finding a boyfriend to begin with because of him, and when she finally does, they’re gonna have to gain his respect to be trusted with looking after his little girl. If his son ever gets into a fight, he’ll ask if he won then whoop his ass later. And in the principle’s office, he’s giving the other kid the worst stink-eye ever. He’s the dad that could beat up the other dads.

Mathias

He’s a total natural; all is well when the baby is in his care. He may be all over the place, but when he really cares about something, he’s in a constant state of hyper focus. The baby will always be clean, well-fed, and happy, so don’t worry about a thing. There’s also no such thing as 50/50 with Mathias. He knows that there will be times when one person has to take the lead. It’s not in his nature to keep track of who’s giving and taking the most. He’s too mature for that.

It’s like experiencing a second childhood for him. Reading picture books, fairytales, playing with legos, or going to places he went to as a kid, he treats parenthood as a chance to relive his best memories and love every second of it. He will never miss a parent event, performance, and appointment. His dedication makes him very perceptive of his child, so he always knows what to do or say to cheer them up. As they grow up, they maintain a very close relationship to him.

“We wanna go to Legoland!”

“You mean, you wanna go to Legoland,” You laugh at him, “I heard you talking to Bjorn about it last night.”

“That’s so he can make an informed decision, of course,” Mathias grins, not showing a hint of shame as he shuffles over with his phone on the home page of the Legoland site. “So I take that it’s decided?”

He’s a great parent, but he’s by no means strict. All he wants is for them to have a fighting chance in the world, like doing a job that they enjoy. He’s great at communicating with his kids and has a lot of compassion, which takes them a long way. He’s never had to discipline them besides setting boundaries and occasionally grounding them. You rule the home with a firmer hand, and maybe that’s why your kids respect you more but treat him more like a friend than a parent sometimes.

Mathias doesn’t bat an eye when his kids first start dating. He’s always been quite liberal, so he just tells them to be careful about the birds and the bees, then to talk to him if things get testy. The one thing he’ll do is to ensure they have high standards. Love is life’s reward, not something to cry yourself to sleep about. Eventually, he’ll invite their date over for dinner, and as it turns out, he’d be a great father in law. He’s very welcoming and treats any future Densens like one of his own.

Matt

He’s a trial-by-error, improvise as you go along kinda dad. He hasn’t put much thought into the trials of childcare, but he always works things out in his own way. If the bub keeps crying because they don’t want to be bottle-fed by him, he will cover his face with a picture of you. Easy-peasy. If they’re crawling around the bed, he will use them as a mousepad as he scrolls on his laptop. That way, he gets some leisure time while making sure they don’t actually go anywhere.

Matt is the opposite to a helicopter parent. When his kid trips and face plants into the ground, he doesn’t react. The trick is to not acknowledge it, because only then will they cry. He isn’t afraid to let them explore the world and gain their own agency. It’s good for them, he says. Some part of you thinks he just wants them to grow up quicker so he doesn’t have to take care of them anymore, but there’s always those special little moments.

“How about I teach you how to drive the truck?” Matt asks, walking back home with the family.

“He’s eleven.” You remark.

“Is that a problem?”

He’s all about the family business. If his children don’t want to go fishing and logging with him, fine, but if they show even the slightest bit of interest, he’s bought. Matt will be more than eager to show them the ropes. He takes them on camping trips to show them the beauty of the great outdoors, and the humility it takes to be apart of it. The art of it all is there’s no problem that can’t be solved, and even a rugged man like him can be domesticated by the right person.

If his daughter got a boyfriend, he’d be waiting at home with a shotgun. Matt will then play it off like he just got back from a hunting trip. He’s the type to use silent intimidation, and it works like a charm. If not, he’ll tell jerks to get off his lawn even though he doesn’t have one, and when they ask what lawn, he’ll just say “all of it.” What he means is to get out of his sight and the woods, which is the lawn he’s talking about. (Ha!) On the flip side, he’s nice to girls his son brings home.

Losing the spark

Alfred

He has a tendency to let himself go when he gets comfortable. This usually happens when his first kid reaches their teenage years and he can afford to sit back now that they can do their own thing. He’s established a stable family unit, but he takes that for granted and gets a little lazy. As a result, he packs on a few pounds and tries less in the relationship. He’s not as attractive as he used to be, and you’re having more petty arguments.

“Why do I feel like you hate me?” He watches you mop the kitchen after you told him to do it. Only he delayed it to sit around on his phone and eat crisps. Even then, he still has the nerve to be upset about it.

“I don’t hate you, I’m just annoyed at you.”

“But you’re annoyed with me everyday.”

Allen

Losing the spark? Not on his watch! He never stops trying, ever, and keeps chasing you like when he first started dating you. His stability doesn’t come from money, it comes from you. You’re his rock, and nothing else matters so long as you’re here. He’s the epitome of ‘you know how daddy is about mommy,’ and he’s proud of it. He also takes great care of his body, and with his good genes, he practically ages backwards.

“You better wear that button-down shirt tonight, Al. A tank top isn’t gonna cut it,” You tell him.

“You callin’ me a deadbeat?” He questions.

“No, but you dress like one.”

“I thought you liked my clothes, babe.”

“I do, but the teachers won’t.”

���True that.” He fixes his collar in front of a mirror. He peers at his reflection, marveling at how well he cleaned up. A dress shirt and belt? He’s practically unrecognizable — until he grins, that is. “Still got it.”

Mathias

He’s always gonna be young at heart, so his spirit never dies. His love for you is as constant as a river, and he’s not afraid of putting on a show for the kids to the point they get a little disgusted. (Ew!) He doesn’t think he’d ever be too old for romance, and his good faith shows up in how gracefully he ages. He might occasionally grow out a thick beard, and when he shaves it off, he looks devastating close to when he was younger.

“Are we ever gonna be alone again?” He mumbles, pouting. His thirtieth birthday is coming up, but he hasn’t changed a bit, save for the more pronounced smile lines around his mouth. “I need some love too.”

“We will, Mat. I just don’t feel comfortable leaving the baby alone right now,” You shake your head.

“We could call Amy and have a date night.”

“I don’t know, Mat.”

“I’ll shave off my beard.”

“Huh?”

“You wouldn’t say no to me without a beard.”

Matt

The longer he’s with you, the harder he loves. His feelings don’t change when things get hard, or as time passes. They just get stronger. In that same breath, he also ages like wine. In the end, he ends up being the bigger romantic. He used to be a lone wolf, and he thought he was okay with it, but now that he has you, he can’t imagine his life without you. To think you actually stuck around and gave him a chance, he’ll never forget that.

“Wanna go back inside and do it?” He mutters.

“You’re disgusting, Matt.” You walk inside without sparing him a single glance. No matter how old he gets, he’ll always have a mouth on him. No matter how old you get, you’ll always forgive him for it.

“Is that a no?”

“Make me dinner and let me think about it.”

“Deal.”

Obey Me boys as dads

I won’t be doing Luke for obvious reasons and I won’t do Raphael and Mephistopheles either because I don’t really know them. Anyways, here are my headcanons on what the Obey Me boys would realistically be like as dads. No sugarcoating, no idealism, no fangirling, though other headcanons I have about them will come into play. I will theorize about what they would be like as dads based on their personality and relationships to each other. So without further ado, let’s begin:

Lucifer

With Lucifer, it is pretty easy to imagine what he would be like as a father given he acts like a father towards his brothers. And in all honesty, he is downright abusive. His go-to method of punishment is hanging his brothers from the ceiling or threatening them to do horrible things to them like feeding them to Cerberus. Not to mention that, given he is the Avatar of Pride, he can’t admit he’s wrong. 

If he had a child, Lucifer would treat them no different than his brothers, given he basically raised them, too. I do believe he would be able to teach his child well, but not without giving it mental health issues. He would give physical affection such as cuddles and kisses, and I do believe he would love his child like he loves his brothers. However, the child wouldn’t actually feel loved because he’s always being so harsh on it. 

Mammon

Mammon would be a decent dad, though he would definitely teach the child how to steal. Given he is the punching bag of the family and gets the most shit from Lucifer, he would do everything in his power to protect his child from that treatment. I do think he would spoil his child with gifts and spend time with it by playing with them. He would also teach him all kinds of gambling games and take them to casinos once they’re old enough.

However, Mammon would be oblivious to obvious dangers for a child and underestimate a child’s stupidity. He’s the type to let the kid run over the kitchen counter and not think of the possibility it might fall, but he would also learn whenever his behavior was pointed out because he really wants to keep his child safe.  

Leviathan

Leviathan would raise his child to be an otaku. He will teach it all about the Tale of the Seven Lords and all his favorite anime. He would be more of a buddy dad, not really good at teaching him life lessons because he can barely get his own shit together. If his child displays any interests he doesn’t share, he would find it difficult to engage in their hobby. He would probably self-loathe, thinking his child doesn’t love him or that he’s a terrible father.

Generally, he would constantly question his abilities as a father and spends many nights crying that he’s not good enough. But his child would genuinely feel loved, they might think their father is wimpy, but would never think of him as a bad father.

Satan

Satan would really struggle not lashing out at his child every five seconds. He’s the type of dad to get irritated whenever the kid asks for his help. He did not prepare for having to give his child 99% of his attention and gets frustrated that he can’t do the things that calm him down, like reading and petting cats. That causes him to lash out at his child more than necessary, which in turn makes the child fear their own father.

However, I can imagine that he becomes a better dad over time and bonds with his child by reading to them and taking them out to cat cafés. Still, he’s the Avatar of Wrath, and those anger issues don’t just go away.

Asmodeus

Surprisingly, Asmodeus would be a great dad. I imagine him being very fond of children. He loves their innocence and wants to protect it at all costs. While he is called narcissistic by the game itself, he isn’t actually narcissistic. He’s vain and openly loves himself, but that’s not the same as being a narcissist. Asmodeus is capable of loving others, such as his brothers, Solomon and MC.

Asmodeus would shower his children with affection and will never miss a chance to tell them how much he loves them with hugs and kisses. Also he would definitely have the most children because… lust. I don’t think he would play favorites, he would try to treat them all equally. He would not accept self-loathing, he wouldn’t want any of his children to suffer any kind of depression or body dysmorphia as he’s been through that himself. He would strictly keep his sin away from them, though once they reach the age he would be the best out of all the brothers to have the birds and the bees talk.

Beelzebub

Beel would also be a wonderful dad. He would definitely make sure his child is well-fed and exercise with them as soon as they can. He would constantly look out for his child, his biggest fear being something happening to it. He would definitely have some war flashbacks, thinking about how he failed to protect Lillith and desperately wants to make sure he doesn’t repeat his mistake.

Beel would also make sure to attend every game or school event his child has. He wouldn’t even let his gluttony control him enough to miss that.

Belphegor

Honestly, I think Belphie would lowkey not want any children. To him they’re a hassle and too much work for the Avatar of Sloth. If he did end up having a child, he wouldn’t be doing any of the hard work. No changing diapers or feeding them, and gosh someone get them to shut up so he can sleep. He’ll probably get earmuffs so he doesn’t have to listen to the screaming.

Belphie would spend time with his child when he’s in the mood, mostly teaching it mischief to annoy Lucifer. He would also come to enjoy napping with the child once he realizes they sleep well when he’s with them.

Diavolo

Diavolo is the chaotic, but often absent dad given he’s the future king of the Devildom. He wouldn’t have much time for his child because of his duties, so the child would mostly grow up with nannies. However, whenever Diavolo has time, he will use it to give his child the best time possible. He would take it to all kinds of amusement parks, fun fairs and other events and give them all the toys they want as a way to make up for his lack of presence.

Diavolo would also be pretty irresponsible, like Mammon he would underestimate the dangers certain activities pose for a child. but unlike Mammon, he wouldn’t learn from his mistakes, thinking it’s fine as long as nothing happens. And even if something happens, he would be like “Welp, better be careful next time” instead of not letting a next time happen.

Barbatos

Barbatos would be an emotionally distanced dad. He would not be absent, in fact he would carry his child around everywhere because he believes nobody could look out better for his child than himself. Given he’s a timelord, he would also want to monitor them in case they inherited his power, so that they don’t tear apart time and space.

Given his stoic personality, he wouldn’t be good with showing his emotions and showing how much he loves his child. However, he shows them by baking with them, letting him help with his chores and teaching them. His punishments are harsh, but not as over the top as Lucifer’s and he would never even threaten to hurt his child. 

Simeon

Simeon is basically a dad to Luke already, though I don’t think either of them think of it that way. Unsurprisingly, he’s the religious dad, and there’s a chance he unintentionally gives his child the same religious trauma he suffers from himself. He’s a good but strict teacher, seeing how he lets Luke find answers to certain questions, which I believe is a good approach to teach independence and problem solving skills. He’s the type who helps his child through emotional turmoil through rational solutions, trying to teach them the “proper” way he himself has strayed from, and he paid the price.

Simeon was demoted from a seraph to an archangel for defending the brothers during the Great Celestial War, and later to a human for stealing the Ring of Light. He believes he has strayed from the right path and wants to set things right by making sure the same doesn’t happen to his child, but in the process of doing that he unintentionally gives them religious trauma, which might cause them to fall from grace even harder than himself.

Solomon

Don’t give this man a child. The child would probably die of food poisoning before it can walk.

Billy:

❈ Billy is such a girl dad, and you can’t change my mind

❈ you end up having twin girls, both of which look just like Billy

❈ they are attached to him in ways you can’t explain

❈ your girls love you, and you love them very much, but their dad is definitely the apple of their eye

❈ Billy spoils the hell out of the girls growing up

❈ they’re still very humble despite them getting everything they want

❈ you and Billy made sure to teach them values

❈ when they’re teenagers, they’re drop-dead gorgeous, which makes Billy nervous

❈ he’s definitely the dad who threatens the boys who date your daughters, even though you tell him to be smart

❈ but, knowing Billy and his past, you know for sure he would definitely kill for his girls

Stu:

❈ Stu is also a girl dad

❈ when your daughter is born, he’s a mess

❈ Stu has this huge smile he can’t wipe off his face every time he looks at your daughter

❈ he takes her everywhere with him when she’s a toddler and buys her any toy or candy she points out

❈ when school starts, you don’t who cries harder, Stu or your daughter

❈ prom and graduation are also very emotional times for Stu as his daughter is now grown up

❈ Stu is protective of his daughter, but not so much that he’d go into a murderous rage

❈ but he still scared the boys in her life enough to where they never hurt her too badly

❈ Stu is ecstatic when your daughter gets married and has children of her own

❈ just as he was a cool dad, he’s now a cool grandpa

Mickey:

❈ Mickey has always wanted a son to teach everything to

a/n: I tried to write this as gender ambiguous as possible but it definitely leans more AFAB reader but I just wanted to say that families come in all shapes and ranges. And L would want to raise a kid with you regardless of your gender orientation.

Pre-Children:

Was the one to bring it up.

wanted two but would be totally supportive if you only wanted one

Would help you plan everything for getting yourself ready for kids (Doctors visits, family therapy if you wanted, looked into every option if you couldn’t carry a child on your own.)

when you actually became pregnant, he was over the moon.

Pregnancy:

Was very supportive and caring.

Never made you feel guilty for your cravings and such.

went to every appointment he could with you

Wanted this to be stress free as possible so he eliminated a lot of your struggles

He legit took notes on pregnancy books

Could be a little much with all the information he now knows but will back off slightly if you told him that he was being a hovering husband

He only trusted certain people around you: Watari, Your family, your friends and the doctors. Would definitely try to keep you in the house if he could but would accept it if you had a problem with it.

when you found out you were having twins, he nearly fainted of happiness. (But do to his lack of expression, you thought it was shock)

Infant: 

very gentle with the babies but isn’t very good at holding them. 

Prefers to give the affection by means of letting their tiny fingers wrap around his or giving them tiny kisses til they giggle

The front door slams shut as you run upstairs to your room, tears streaming down your face. The sound of another door slamming in the house rings throughout the halls, Bob wasn't home yet. You were alone in the house, and you found that as a blessing as you cried into your pillow in your room. Bob was going to loose his shit if he found out.......

It was late now, probably 2, before Bob came back home. He dragged a mutilated body with him and smiled crazily " Littl' lamb! I'm home! " his southern accent called out. He got worried and his smile went away when you didn't come and greet him, not even a reply from somewhere in the house! He dragged the body into the blood and guts covered kitchen, which desperately needed to be cleaned, and sighed in relief when he noticed you in the kitchen. " Littl' lamb! There ya' are! Ya' got me worried there when ya' didn't respond..... " he chuckled slightly as he threw the body onto a table that acted as a chopping board for y'all.

" So! Tell me my littl' killer, how'd your date go? Bob's voice was still deep and demonic as he held you closer than before " What. Did. He. Do. " he demanded a explanation before he went on a absolute murder spree. You sniffled, hugging him closer and starting to explain what happened between crying " H-He took me out to the park....... A-and once we reached the entrance I turned around to kiss him b-but he pushed me away......... " you started crying more as you continued " I-I tried asking h-him what was wrong......... B-but he laughed at me! " You started shaking slightly as Bob tried calming you down " H-He said I was pathetic...... T-that nobody would l-love the kid who's dad's a m-murderer........ H-He....... H-he....... "

Bob shushed you and started comforting you as you broke down, his grip was tight and his voice was comforting and strained " Ya' don't have to continue...... Just calm down littl' lamb.......... Dad's gotcha'........ " he held you close as you cried into him, he was holding himself back from going and killing that boy and hunt down every person related to him. But that could wait, you needed Bob right now.

Slowly Bob calmed you down, still holding you close as you started to feel better but not yet done crying. Bob was using whatever will he still had left not to just go after that boy already, his anger was rising the more he thought about it that he started to mumbled to himself about what he'd do once he got his hands on him. " I swear'. Once I get my hands' on him I'll- " he stopped rambling when he felt you shift in his hold, quickly turning his attention back to you with a soft expression on his face " I-It's fine dad........ Y-You don't need to waste your time like that.......... " your voice was hushed and small as you talked, voice slightly horse as well as you wiped away whatever tears came from your eyes.

Bob wasn't having it thought, he refused to, that boy deserved to be hunted for hurting his littl' lamb. That's when he had a idea. A smug and soft smile over takes his face as he looks at you, softly wiping your remaining tears away as he slowly started to calm down " Littl' lamb, hey, look at me. " you lift your head up towards him, the hug not as restricting as before as a look of curiosity is seen in your eyes. Bob's smile just seems to grow, not being able to restrain his pure excitement over his idea to cheer you up " Why don't I take ya' out for some killin'? Like old times'! " you slowly nodded in agreement, a small smile comes onto your face as the idea brings some joy to your gloomy mood.

" Sure! I just need to get ready! " Bob let's out a short laugh as you quickly leave his hug, running upstairs towards your room to most certainly change into something disposable. He had a soft smile on his face as he turned back to the body on the table, picking back up the butcher knife as he starts cutting up the body to put it in the freezer. As he cuts up the body a sickening smile grows on his face, his eyes going slightly insane as his pupils turn cyan. That BOY was going to suffer for what he did, and he'd make sure of it.

" Ya' messed with the wrong family ya' little bitch....... " He mumbled under his breath as he harshly chopped off the head, the sound of the cervical vertebra breaking instead of splitting only emphasising just how hard he slammed down the butcher knife. Blood sprayed onto him as he looked at the cracked vertebra blankly, his pupils a deep cyan and his smile wide with insanity. " Dad! Really! " the sound of you scolding him for getting blood on himself broke his blank stare, he turned his attention to you and chuckled nervously " I'll change! Don't ya' worry! "

You both were outside of a all too familiar house, a look of pure confusion on your face as you looked over to Bob. " Dad, what are we doing here?????? " your voice was a whisper as you didn't want to get caught, or worse someone heard you and recorded your conversation. Bob had a soft and nervous smile on his face, looking over to you as he held his signature knife in one had and scratched at his neck with his other hand " I know ya' said you wanted me ta' leave it be, but I can't! He hurt my littl' devil and he needs to pay! So, I thought that if ya' kill him you'd no longer be so sad! "

You looked slightly perplexed at his confession, thinking about it as you tossed your own knife Bob hand made you between your hands. The more you thought about it, the more you wanted to indulge in the idea of killing your now ex more. It only solidified as you heard a door open from his house, and out walked a barbie blonde who waved bye to him from his window. You turn to Bob, adorning a insane smile on your face, as you gripped your knife handle hard in your dominate hand and let out a sinister chuckle " Well, I suppose getting rid of the source of my pain isn't so bad~...... "

Bob's own insane smile took his face, his pupils a nice cyan, and he let out a pleased chuckle when your voice mimicked it's own demonic tone " That's my girl/boy. " his own voice went demonic as you both had equally insane looks on your faces, oh tonight's bonding kill was gonna be F U N. You both made quick work of sneaking into the house and up the stairs towards his room, having to both contain yourselves from just running upstairs and getting to him already. The house was a complete mess which made it slightly difficult to sneak upstairs, various bottles were scattered everywhere and old takeout food or clothes were just strewn all over the place " No wonder he never let me over, it's a fucking mess in here...... " you mumbled with clear disgust, you may have a gory kitchen but it wasn't as bad as your ex's house.

When you made it upstairs his door was slightly cracked open, giving you a chance to hear his conversation he was having with someone over the phone. He let out a laugh as both you and Bob waited outside the door for the right time to strike, it seemed whoever he was talking to was a friend of his " Hahah! Yeah! You should have seen the look on her/his face! Like I'd ever date the literal definition of insane, she/he was absolutely obsessed with me! " that when you realize he was talking about you, more specifically how you had put your entire heart into the relationship and he viewed it as you being obsessed or insane. You didn't need to look over towards Bob to know he was SEETHING, the ever growing feeling of his death stare at the door told you all you needed to know.

" Anyway, I gotta go, Ashely is supposed to be coming over soon. " you almost felt revoltion and anger bubble in your stomach like acid, now having Bob stare at you in wait for if you'd break down the door or not. Ashely was his " ex ", but when he broke up with you she was there to rub in your face they'd been sleeping together since you two started dating. When he hanged up you waited a minute, hearing the light go off so he was in the dark and a twisted smirk came onto your face " Dad, do you think you can keep a eye out for her real quickly? "

Almost immediately horror took over his face, he sorta freezes in place as he realizes it's you and that he was cuffed to his headboard. Bob ended up coming up the stairs holding something behind his back, giving a sinister and disgusted chuckle at the scene before him in the dark " Well then, shall we give him a gift before we begin? " You found a switch, causing the room to be flooded in red lighting which made you giggle, you moved towards Bob and looked behind his back which draws a excited gasp from you. " Oh yes! That's the perfect gift! " he ended up starting to struggle in the cuffs, causing Bob to get annoyed and quickly make his way over and stab one of his legs still to the bed. A bloodcurdling scream is ripped out of him, Bob's knife tearing through Muscle, tendons, nerves, veins, all the way to the bone which is split right where the knife was stabbed into.

A unmistakable crack was heard with the squelching of blood quickly rushing to the surface and spraying out the wound, no doubt to any of you that his Fibula and Tibia were possibly split from the middle through bone marrow and all. You let out a laugh and made your way over to him as well, making quick work to stab his other leg in the same spot and manner as his other leg, relishing in the scream that's drawn from him as you look to Bob with insanity almost plastered to your grin. " Let's give him his gift! I simply can't wait! " excitement oozed from your voice as your ex started to panic, his legs were most certainly useless and if he struggled he'd probably split the bones of his calves in half more than now. So in hopeless dispair he could only helplessly look between you two, eyes moving rapily between you two as his panic increased " S-Suprise? O-oh god. Please n-no. D-Don't tell m-me tha- "

Before he was able to say much more, Bob moved what he was holding behind his back to your ex's face, causing your ex to pale and almost vomit on the spot at the sight in front of him " Aww~, don't be like that with your G I R L F R I E N D. " in front of your ex was the mutilated head of Ashely, a permanent look of pure horror on her face in the form of a unreleased scream that never escaped her. At the base of her head, through the bloody mess that was there and dripped crimson red darker than a blood moon, her Cervical and part of her Thoracic spine hanged freely with a clean split right where Bob had cut her spine off. You clapped your hand's with glee as you looked at your ex's horrified face, grabbing at the exposed spine hanging from Ashley's cut off head and pulling at it.

The spine came out of her head and neck without much protest, causing the hole it left to pour a river of blood onto the bed with her tounge even falling out onto your ex's lap. Your ex threw up onto himself as Bob laughed and you wrapped the spine on your neck like a scarf, Bob throwing Ashley's head into your ex's lap and giving you a hug while putting pressure onto the knife in his left leg " That suits you so well littl' devil! " Bob said as he twisted the knife the right causing his Fibula and Tibia to actually split in half, a scream that was loud enough to cause you and Bob to cover your ears coming from him as crimson blood came from him like a water fountain. " Y-You're INSANE!!! B-BOTH OF YOU!!!! " you let out a laugh as you got out of Bob's hug and harshly grabbed your ex by the throat, causing him to slightly gasp for air as you were face to face with each other.

Bob leaned against a wall close to the bedroom door, having a smug smile on his face as he decided to let you have this kill for your outing. Your eyes were a deep cyan as you yanked the knife out of his left leg and held it against his chest, you truly looked like Bob's daughter/son in that moment as you adorned his famous smile and crazed eyes that everyone knew " I'm more than insane..... I'm the DEFINITION of insanity. Now. ⱠɆ₮'₴ ₲Ɇ₮ ₮Ø ₮ⱧɆ ₣Ʉ₦ ₱₳Ɽ₮.... "

The walk back home was filled with laughter and maybe even a buzz of excitement? But it was very evident that both your bloodlust were satisfied and so was your satisfaction of revenge, if anyone needed more proof about that both you and Bob were covered head to toe in blood. Bob let out a content sigh as he wore a relaxed smile on his face as you both walked, looking downward behind you both to what little remained of your ex's body that he was dragging along (I'll spare the details about it.....).

" So my littl' lamb! Feelin' better? " Bob asked you while he looked at you with a small look of nervousness, he didn't want you to be sad after everything you just did to your mutilated and mangled ex's body. But when you gave Bob a relaxed and happy smile as you began to rant about how much fun you had and how you felt better, his nervousness went away as he felt absolutely pleased to know you were better now. He listened intently to your ranting and let out small laughs here and there when you'd reenact things you did, he especially laughed when you mimicked you're ex's crying and screaming finding it funny remembering how girlish it was.

When you finished your rant you were already home outside of the front door, Bob throwing your ex's body into a campfire near the house starting to pour gasoline on it, you let out a sigh and hugged bob from the side as he lit a match. " Thank you Dad....... I couldn't wish for anyone else to be my dad..... " Bob smiled as he handed the lit match to you so you could throw it on your ex, the final act to cut all ties with him, and hugged you back with a slightly tight grip on you. " Of course...... Anythin' for my littl' devil. " You couldn't help but feel absolutely important and loved when Bob said that, you already knew your dad loved you but it's always nice to hear him tell you that sometimes. You threw the match onto your ex's body lighting it ablaze as you and Bob hugged each other, the smell of burning flesh floating in the air but not bothering either of you as you simply enjoyed your father daughter/son moment. Bob wearing a bigger smile than the two of you as he knew that he'd never let another boy near you, he'd kill any boy who dared look you're way and dare speak or break your heart. It's like the old saying-

A part of him doesn't think he deserves to care for someone in a fatherly way. I mean, just look at where he lives- look at his life choices, does someone like that really deserve to have that much responsibility in someone else's life?

He shelters you a lot more than you'd think. Drugs? What are drugs? Papa just has a bit of schizophrenia and needs to take his meds. He can try can play it off as much as he wants, but the only people he's fooling are the ferals down the road. He can try to shield you from certain things from the outside world, but he partakes in too much of it himself for it to really be effective.

Sure, he's an addict, but he ain't a deadbeat. Hancock's the type to show up to anything important to you. You've decided to start up a new shop in Goodneighbor? Consider him your first customer! Just bought a new gun and want to test it out in an alley? He'll be right behind you, doing his best to help you aim! He's there to support in any way he can, no matter what it is.

He's always going around telling people that you're his kid. It's just a constant flow of, "You see that one? That's my kid! :)"

Despite how he feels toward McDonough, he'd never want to send too much ill intent his way. He tones down his hatred for his brother a lot when you're around, only because he feels that he's your uncle, whether the two of you are related or not. Family's important to him, and he rather you come up with your own opinion rather than him tell you how you should feel.

Ruffles your hair whenever you do something he's proud of.

He's not overprotective by any means, but if anyone ever were to start pushing you around, he'd gladly rough 'em up for you.

He loves it when you talk about your interests with him. It makes him all fuzzy inside and helps give him better ideas on how to involve himself with those activities more often. He loves being a part of your life, especially when it involves your passions.

Most of the residents in Goodneighbor will wave and greet you by name. It holds the same energy as if a family friend were to come over for dinner.

It might be slightly ironic, and he fully understands how it might seem, but you aren't allowed to do drugs till you're at least 30. He'd hate for you to ruin your life so early. Live a little, then he might reconsider.

He'll take you out to one of the settlements and teach you to throw knives. Just something fun for the two of you to do outside. He might even tell you tales of his own childhood.

He throws the best pity parties. If you're ever feeling depressed, he'll lock the doors leading to his room, and he and Fahrenheit will do everything they can to distract you. They'll play games (mostly chess), give you a bit of alcohol, or even just sit out on the balcony and people-watch.

He's one of the most gently honest people there is. He'd never lie to you, and he sure as hell wouldn't ever want anything he says to come off as rude, so you end up with these incredibly sincere statements laced with the sweetest tone.

Hype man?? Bro is always ready to spit compliments at you whenever you need them. It's almost impossible to feel insecure with a father figure like him constantly checking in on you.

Hancock loves you to bits and wouldn't know what to do with himself if you ever disappeared from his life. He wants the best for you and would do everything he can to ensure that you're happy.

One Piece Treasures: Father! Roronoa Zoro Headcanons

Just a single set of unfortunate circumstances landed you, a abanonded helpless nameless eight-year-old, in the custody of the one and only Pirate Hunter, Roronoa Zoro

Do you think Zoro is a bad parent? Hope not, because he isn’t. With the way he treats Luffy, he is, without a doubt, a very dedicated and accomodating figure

Overprotective is his middle name. The Thousand Sunny became childproof in mere seconds. All the sharp cutlery and tools, replaced with plastic replicas. All of the Crew’s stock of booze and cigarettes, over the deck in no time.

He can’t stand anybody talking down his cute little swordswoman but keeps all his fury bottled up. Lashing out in front of you will make you cry and Zoro doesn’t want to hurt or scare you so he becomes really good at keeping himself composed for longer periods of time

Zoro’s responsible and surprisingly well-equipped for parenthood. He cuts down his aggression and knocks off the swearing around you. His sense of organisation also jumped, he can look after your stuff alongside his excellently

Zoro has been teaching you his three-swords style. You need to be able to defend yourself when you grow up. It’s not like Zoro will sit down and let threats harm his daughter but he won’t be around forever to protect you

He gets a lot of shit from Nami for letting you handle his katanas. What’s the issue, woman?! He is always watching over you! He will make sure you don’t cut yourself, that being because Zoro will never let you out his sight

Off the grand high seas and at new islands, you sometimes have to deal with mean children and lose fights to them. Thankfully, Zoro will be there to shoo them away, cradle you, wipe away your tears and make you feel better

“Don’t worry, my little Strawberry. I’ll give you my katanas to deal with them next time, okay?”

Aunt Nami spoils you rotten. She takes you to play as girls, to go “shopping” and braid your cute hair! She barks a lot at Zoro for “not treating you like a child”

“Swords?! Are you moronic?! It seems like you’re trying to kill her! She’s only eight!”

“Relax! She can take care of herself and I’m literally right here!”

Zoro got you a carbon copy of his earrings so you’d match with him. He can’t help but feel his heart melt as you wave one of his sheathed swords around on the Poop Deck and yell “I’m trained by the best swordsman ever! I’m Tsuki Zoro!”

Zoro also got you a really cute kimono styled like his! You’re actually the biggest daddy’s little princess ever as you eventually end up matching him in many ways

Zoro is a affectionate father. He loves giving piggybacks, holding you on his hip, he sleeps with you cuddled to his chest, he gives you cheek and forehead kisses all the time. Zoro is especially affectionate after finishing a mission or a duty and returning to the Thousand Sunny as to make up for worrying you and/or not bringing you along

Zoro prefers that you stay on the Thousand Sunny as you’re safer there than with the adventuring crew. You have came along more than once against Zoro’s wishes but having you around raises Zoro’s defensive nature, he hisses at anybody who seems too friendly with you

“I’m sorry for being mean to that kid, little Strawberry. I just don’t trust any of these villagers. Could you stay with Daddy, please?”

Zoro can come back to the Thousand Sunny VERY injured and he will gladly give you piggybacks and/or shoulder rides to make you smile. Your happiness is his fuel and you’re his top priority

Uncle Luffy is your favourite caretaker but Zoro’s biggest headache. Zoro is still quite the overprotective dad and Luffy’s recklessness with you is stressing him out. Fun fact; Luffy got you a straw-hat charm bracelet for your first birthday with the Strawhat Crew! He thought it was cute

“Luffy! PLEASE, be careful for once! Shimotsuki’s too young to be playing up so high!”

“Strawberry! Come here! Give Daddy a hug! What happened? …What?! Uncle Sanji ignored you?! Here, go play with Uncle Luffy. Daddy needs to go talk to Uncle Sanji”

Cut to poor Sanji tied-up to the lookout tower with his mouth gagged as Luffy carries you out from the captain’s bunk to see the pretty waves. When you noticed Sanji, you pointed at him and asked Luffy about it

Zoro cries almost hysterically everytime you successfully perform a move from his three-swords style. He is so proud that he wants to scream it out to the seven seas

“That’s my girl! Go, little champion! Just look at her! …She’s on her way to be the best swordswoman”

Zoro’s crying with Luffy doing his best to comfort him whilst you bounce over to your father and happily babble about that you just performed a move without his help

Zoro is quite emotionally attached to you. To think, he was grossed out by the idea of parenting but in a few months, it all changed. Now, he can’t bare to imagine scouting these grand seas without his little strawberry

Zoro goes murder mode everytime any of the crew’s enemies manages to land a hit on you. You got that small left cheek scar from a Assassin out for Luffy’s bounty and Zoro had to be pinned down by his own team so he wouldn’t dice the assassin into crumbs on the spot

“Little Strawberry! Did that bad man hurt you? what a cut… Aww, go to Aunt Nami, she’ll look after you. Daddy and Uncle Luffy will take care of that bad man but quickly, give Daddy a hug. I’m so sorry I couldn’t stop that, love”

Yes more dad bots!

Bumblebee:

-Such a fun dad.

-He plays with his kids all the time. Runs around with them, throws them into the air(sometimes too high, but he always catches them)

-He watches movies with his kids. He tells them stories, and he always does funny voices for the characters.

-Even though he's the fun dad, he is still really good at just being a dad. He's there when his kids get sick, rubbing their back, making them treats to make them feel better. If his kids are scared he holds them close and tells them they are safe as long as he is around.

-The type of dad to make a scene of fighting the monster under the bed.

-He is the dad that will wear a baby carrier on his front, and will take his child into battle with him. There is no safer place than with him. He can protect the child while also fighting cons. If he has two kids he will have a carrier on the front and back.

-He wants a million kids, he loves them.

-Is definitely his kids best friend as they grow up. This can be a bad thing sometimes, because he gets into trouble along with his kids instead of being the parent and telling his kids not to get in trouble.

Optimus:

-Not as much as a play around dad. He is still fun in the way that he tells his kids stories, and he takes his kids on adventures. But he isn't the get on the ground and roll around with his kid type.

-Super loving though. He will hold his child close to him. If his child is scared he will hold the kid close to him and tell the child great stories about all his brave comrades.

-He will tuck his children into bed and tell them how much he loves them.

-He promises to take them to space and show them the universe. (When they are older though)

-He always shows up. If his kid has an event (school play, sport game, or whatever) Optimus is always there. He could be fighting the whole entire Decepticon army, and he will still make it in plenty of time and be there to cheer his kid on and tell them how proud he is.

-He is the dad to go to for advice. He gives great advice.

-He only wants what is best for his kid. Sometimes that can mean he is disappointed or angry when his kid messes up. Like if his kid flunked school or training he would be annoyed, but it is just because he wants his kid to succeed and go far. And maybe become a leader like him. He will however still support his kid no matter what path they choose to do. Even if he doesn't like it, he just wants his kid to be happy.

-If his kid did become a leader like him, he would be extremely happy. He would not be able to describe the amount of joy and pride he would feel.

Hot Rod:

-Hot Rod will be an absolutely amazing dad to any and all genders. But I just imagine this and I can NOT get it out of my head. Hot Rod is for sure a girl dad.

-He has a little daughter and he is instantly wrapped around her finger. He adores her and dotes on her.

-He will play tea parties, he will dress as a princess. Or he will dress as a prince and play saving his daughter from the dragon (the dinobots).

-He will dance with his little girl and spin her around telling her how much he loves her.

-This also makes him super protective. He's the type of dad that will shoot any boys that try to go near his girl.

-He teaches his kids French because being bilingual is always a good skill.

-He is the dad that will say 'if you call me and ask me to pick you up I will be there no questions asked.'

-He is the dad you go to when you are in trouble. Sure he might be a little disappointed, but he is also just so happy that his kid felt safe enough to go to him for help. He will do whatever he can to fix/help his child's problem. He's also got experience from being a little rascal himself when he was younger, so he can connect to his kid and let them know he understands getting into trouble can happen.

-Tells his kids every day how proud he is and how much he loves them.

-Super worried all the time about his kids. He doesn't want them to get hurt or get in trouble in any way. So he is always thinking about them, checks in on them to make sure they are safe. He will back off if the kids tell him he needs to chill. When the kids are young he does some serious baby proofing. He does everything he can to keep his child away from every type of danger.

-But being overly cautious means if his kids do eventually get hurt he is very nurturing. He kisses their boo boos, rubs their tummies if sick and cradles them lovingly when they cry.

BONUS ABOUT ALL THREE:

-The kids will do the 'my dad could beat up your dad' and all three can easily beat up all the dads. But ultimately Optimus could beat up everyone, even Superman.

-All kids will go to Bumblebee when they want to have a crazy fun time.

-All kids will go to Optimus for help with homework, help with life advice, or just general advice.

-All the kids will call Hot Rod if and when they get into trouble.

-All three will go to daddy kiddy play groups and they will rock it. Bumblebee organizes the events usually. Optimus caters to make sure they all eat healthily. Hot Rod arranges entertainment, makes sure everyone is safe, gets home and doesn't get sick from all the sugar Bumblebee feeds them.
